Electrolytic Polishing

Electropolishing is a electrolytic process for a variety of alloys, that removes a thin layer of material from the surface to achieve a clean, smooth, corrosion resistant surface.
Smoothness of the metal surface is one of the primary and most advantageous effects of electropolishing.

Electropolishing selectively removes microscopic high points or "peaks" faster than the rate of attack on the corresponding micro-depressions or "valleys". This process can be combined with pickling and passivation.

Electromagnetic polishing
For polishing of small parts MTRC has a unique process called electromagnetic polishing. The process has a similar effect as electropolishing.
